Interpreting Our Territory

A programme of guided environmental interpretation walks to discover the protected natural areas of the province of Castellón. Three routes will be offered in each of the nine judicial districts, for a total of 27 routes visiting places of outstanding value, uniqueness and beauty.

Routes last approximately 4 to 6 hours, cover 4 to 15 km, and are classified by difficulty (easy, intermediate and difficult). As interpretive walks, they include explanations about the landscape, local biodiversity and the importance of each natural area.

All activities are circular (same start and finish point) and can be reached by car. They are free of charge and open to everyone, with prior booking until capacity is reached. Registration is made at least 15 days in advance, and routes take place on weekends from 31 January to 29 November.
