A town situated 38km from Gandia, in Benidoleig, you can visit the famous Benidoleig Cave, a natural wonder at 300 metres where you can see stalactites and stalagmites which have been forming in the cave for thousands of years.

You can visit Oliva (10 km from Gandia). Here you can visit the Marjal Natural Park Oliva-Pego, the sand dunes and La Font Salada, saltwater spring.
Safari Park

This famous Safari Park is located between Vergel and Pego, here you can see more than 1400 animals from 145 different species.

Visit to BioParc in Valencia

The design of this new zoo located in Valencia in the Parque de Cabecera employs the “zoo-immersion” concept, in which the visitor is surrounded by amazingly accurate likenesses of the natural habitats being presented such as the jungle (zebras, elephants, crocodiles...) and the vast wonders of life underground where visitors can marvel at termites and also the underwater life.
Bioparc has been created for visitors to enjoy themselves whilst learning about the natural environment and is also committed to scientific education and conservation.

Route: From the Marjales to the Dunes

Ecotourism Route
This is a route approximately 8.7Km long, divided into the following stops:
The route starting point is the Alquería del Duc. This construction dates back to the 16th century and its restoration started at the end of 1993.
Most notable on the building itself are the three embrasures, one on each corner, plus the fourth, which is of Arab origin. The sun dial dates back to 1780.
The second stop at Ullal de L´Estany is located at 1.8 km from the first, and is the source of subterranean spring waters which come from the mountain. There is always water available, even in times of drought.
Returning back to the tarmac you can see Bayren Castle or San Juan Castle as well as the remains of the old walls that surrounded the Arab settlement.
Following the path that leads to "Ullal Fosc" at about 400 m from the road junction, on the left you can see a water spring that derives from the drinking water wells at Playa de Gandia.
The third stop is the Ullal Fosc is situated about 1.6 km from the second stop. The characteristics are very similar to those at the Ullal on the second stop.
The following stop Muntanyeta de la Creueta is located at 1.5 km from the last.I It is easily accessible from the track and has an altitude of 34 m. Here you will come across the area’s typical vegetation (rosemary, pebrella, thyme…).
At 2 km from the Muntanyeta, you will find the Marjal de Xeresa where you can see flora and fauna typical to water zones (cane, bullrush, imperial herons…)
Continuing along the Nazaret-Oliva road, towards Playa de Gandia, take the third path on the left, passing a grove of pines trees which together with the carob tree are what remains of the former pastureland. Continuing along the path, you will arrive at the sand dunes which are very unique.
Visit to Gulliver Park

Gulliver Park is located near the City of Arts and Sciences. This is an ideal spot for young children due to the number of slides available for them to play on.
Parents can also have a moment of rest while the children burn off their energy.
City of Arts and Sciences

Located in Valencia, this space houses five different areas in which culture in general is the star of the show.
This area is divided into 5 large zones:
Palau de les Arts: Mainly for housing Opera, Dance and Theatrical events.
L´Umbracle: This is an outdoor green area of 7000 m2 containing a large variety of plants.
L´Hemisfèric: There are thousands of cultural activities organised in this building.
Museu de les Ciències Príncipe Felipe: Mainly a centre for different exhibitions and collections
L´Oceanográfic: Here you can observe hundreds of animals of all types
The City of Arts and Sciences is undoubtedly a luxury you can not afford to miss
Route: El Raco del Duc

The "Racó del Duc" or "Barranc de l'Infern", is the stretch of the River Serpis that flows between Vilallonga (Valencia) and l'Orxa (Alicante). The distance between the two towns is 12 km long, and the route is generally flat except for some slopes at the beginning. This makes it easy and suitable for all ages.
There are five tunnels along the route so it is advisable to carry a torch.
As well as the tunnels, you will also see five small hydroelectric plants next to the path that runs parallel to the riverside. Their names are: Fábrica del Céntim, de la Mare de Déu, de La Reprimala, del Racó del Duc and del Infern. Only three of the plants or factories are still operational. The others are in ruins.
Opposite the Mare de Déu factory you will find a monument to the Virgen de la Fuente (Virgin of the Fountain) which commemorates the discovery of the Virgin by a woodcutter. Every year on the third Sunday of October there is a pilgrimage from the village of Vilallonga to this spot to commemorate the event.
As you continue along the path you will see the castle of Perputxent on top of a hill overlooking the Serpis River valley, approximately one and a half kilometres to the northeast of L’Orxa.
Route: To La Drova and Barx

The starting point for this route is Paseo Germanies, which you should go along towards the hospital where you will see signposts to Barx.
The walk passes through Marxuquera and past the Hermitage. There is an outdoor antique market held here every Sunday.
A little later you will reach La Drova and from here you can walk up the Montdúver where you will find a spectacular panoramic view.
Eventually you will arrive in Barx. A small mountain town with mountain water springs. The town is very famous for its sausages.
