Gastronomy
The popular fideuà (a variation of paella cooked using fine pasta instead
of rice), seafood rice specialities, “suquet de peix” (fish stew) and
the famous paella are some of the most distinguished local dishes. The starter “figatells”
is also worth a mention. Another local speciality are the “coques de dacsa”
(corn flatbreads) which have a variety of fillings such as egg and tomato, cod or
spinach.
