Description of Villamartin Golf Club

Villamartin was opened in 1972 and is therefore one of the most popular courses
on the Costa Blanca. Players of all levels can enjoy this course which obliges the
player to use practically every club.
The greens at Villamart�n are magnificently designed which is why it has hosted
many important tournaments at the club both amateur and professional: The P.G.A
Mediterranean Open Volvo European Tour held in 1997 and won by Jos�
Mar�a Olaz�bal, the P.G.A Challenge European Tour that has also
been held here on two occasions, as well as the professional associations from various
European countries who have chosen to hold their own tournaments tours here.
The national and Valencian amateur federations have selected Villamart�n on several
occasions as the venue for major competitions in all categories for both men�s and
ladies golf.
