The sights of Benidorm

Benidorm has a wide range of activities for everyone and most of them are reasonably priced, despite having a reputation of being a great tourist based city. One thing you should consider however is that it’s rarely quiet, so if you prefer your holidays peaceful, Benidorm probably isn’t the ideal holiday destination for you.

Outside the city itself, there are some breathtaking natural wonders, like the waterfalls behind Altea. This protected area is home to several unique species of plant, the Railway mining tour and the Algar Cactus co. It’s considered one of Benidorm’s top attractions. Slightly further afield the Caves of Canelobre are a must see for tourists. Approximately 40km from Benidorm, the caves are a natural attraction that continues to slowly grow.

Familes can enjoy one of the numerous resort based theme parks, and each caters to a different type of entertainment seeker. Terra Mitcha is a ‘traditional’ style theme park with rides comparatable to Alton Towers or Thorpe Park. Thrill seekers can visit one of five areas and experience the main rides, or alternatively for those who aren’t thrill-seeking, the other smaller rides that populate the areas. With the longest wooden rollercoaster in Europe, a Ball Rollercoaster, and even more in the ‘Rome’ district, families with rollercoaster or thrill aficionados can’t go wrong.

Terra Natura is a combination of zoo and theme park – with a twist. It boasts ‘no natural barriers’ and the animals are kept in an environment that is natural to them. With five different areas to travel through, those with an interest in nature will be captivated by the sights, sounds and smells of this park. Aqualandia, a water theme park, has over 20 rides and areas, from sedate to heart pumping and it’s a great way to spend a day, or even days. It offers extremely good value for money for families looking for a way to amuse their children.

Vila Joiosa has something special that makes anyone want to return and visit in every Costa Blanca jumpoff. Its light, typical of a Mediterranean village, and the configuration of the old town, with small streets that recall the past, and their homes along the harbor, painted in the purest Mediterranean style in bright colors, they become the best claim to the tourist and Costa Blanca lovers.

As you have kids, you might like going to Terra Mítica::That is in Benidorm it is a Theme Park: It is really fun! Even for the adults!
Aswell you have got Terra Natura, that is similar to a Zoo & at the end there is a big swimming pool & water slides & a park there for your kids to play in. There is a Sealife Centre that is called:: Mundomar: That means Sea-world in English :d
