The now famous music festival will be held in Benicàssim from the 14th to 17th July.
This year a list of famous groups will delight those who attend: Thursday July 14th: The Streets, Paolo Nutini, Friday July 15th: The Strokes, Brandos Flowers, Saturday, July 16th: Arctic Monkeys, Mumford & Sons,... Sunday July 17th: Arcade Fire, Portishead. These are just some of the groups who will perform, in total more than 100 artists will enjoy 4 days of concerts to present; also we have the option of camping for 8 days for free.
In addition they have prepared plenty of activities both indoors and in the town itself such as theatre, short films, art, dance...

If you are looking for a Soul Music then go and see the Beni Blues Brothers. A great deal of work has gone into this Tribute Show.
John Morgan and Darren Cannon both are the components of this group, they worked on the Costa Blanca circuit for many years, performing solo acts before coming together to create one of the most established acts in Benidorm.
You can hear all the songs associated with the Blues Brothers, guaranteed to get your feet tapping!.
You can see them every night at the Western Saloon at 23.00 on Calle Gerona and then again at Cafe Benidorm on the British Square at 00.30h.

Thanks to the Rotary Club of Benidorm, HOSBEC and Cáritas Interparroquial , The Platters will be hosting an organized show to raise funds for the needy.
The concert will take place on Saturday August 23rd at the Benidorm Palace Ballroom .
All the collected funds, except the cost of the artists who have also given a special price for the ocassion, will go towards buying food for Caritas and its distribution among the needy.
RH Hotels supports this great initiative and we will encourage all customers of our hotels in Benidorm to assist to such a high level event, to see the Platters in such a beatiful place will be delicious.

Benidorm’s Mayor , Manuel Perez Fenoll, has confirmed today at noon , that it will be around 200 police officers to ensure the safety of the Bruce Springsteen concert, which will take place on 30th of this month, from 22 hours at the Estadio Municipal de Foietes. There will be more than 60 National Police officers involved in the device's concert of Bruce Springsteen, who will join more than 60 local police officers, 15 personnel from the Civil Guard, security staff of the company organizer of the concert, besides the safety of the singer, Civil Defense and Red Cross. Manuel Perez Fenoll added that the expected crowd for the event will be a number between 28,000 and 30,000 people, if your are still interested , book now here !

Coming this Sunday June 14, Benidorm will host a tribute to the recently defunct "Queen of the Blues" Koko Taylor. It is in the Julio Iglesias Auditorium, beginning at 19 hours. The Department of Culture honors with his ' Blues & Blues Festival the figure of the Grammy Award winner, Koko Taylor, the most important blues singer so far and undisputed "queen of the blues." Tickets can be purchased at the kiosk through the Plaza Triangular or Servicam at a price of 15 euros, or box office, at 18 euros.
The mayor of Culture, Ángela Barceló, has announced that the concert will consist of three parts. On the opening act, Koko Taylor's band, comprising musicians Henry Butler on piano, Kenny Neal on guitar and EC Scott with his voice. The second group will be participating Lonnie Brooks, Lonnie Brooks & the Blues Band. According Testi Tajada, music producer afirm that is a "unique oportunity, as it will be one of the last chance to see the Koko Taylor's Blues Band, all in active" following the death last week of the "queen of the blues."
During her almos 50 year career , Taylor has received almost every award that the blues world that can offer and many more.
She received Grammy nominations for seven of its last eight albums with Alligator and won a Grammy...

Benidorm has a treat for fans of the Blues next month when ''The Queen of Blues" also known as Koko Taylor and Lonnie Brooks play in concert.
Part of the Blues & Blues 09 festival, the pair will perform at the Óscar Esplá auditorium in l'Aigüera Park on Sunday June 14th.
It starts at 19.00 and tickets costing €15 can be purchased at the kiosk in the Plaza Triangular or the bull ring. If you can't get a ticket in advance, they can be purchased on the night for €18.

A new edition of the music cycle called "Concerts Marquesa" has started, and until June 20 you can enjoy of the performance of various artists in Gandia Beach.
The place where the concerts will be carried out is the garden of the Casa de Cultura Marques de Gonzalez de Quirós, better known as "La Casa de la Marquesa", Gandia.
For this 2009 edition they have provided performances by Kiko Veneno on May 30, for the day June 6 will be the turn of "The Commitments", on June 13 Albert Plá will be the star and finally closing this cycle , Iván Ferreiro on June 20. All concerts begin at 22:30 and will have an approximate price of between € 8 and € 10.
