As the Christmas season comes to an end, there is still a tradition left to celebrate.
The fifth of January the three kings come to Benidorm. Like every year they will have their parade through the streets of Benidorm.
The Big Parade starts at 18.00 o´clock in the centre of Benidorm and the route they will follow is:
Parque de Elche, Avda de los Almendros, Calle Marte, Calle Venus, Calle Ruzafa, Calle Herrerías y la Plaza del Ayuntamiento.

The Constitution of 1812 is one of the most important legal texts of the Spanish state, since laid the foundation for subsequent constitutions. Considered a bastion of liberty, was promulgated in Cadiz on March 19th, 1812, the feast day of San Jose, so it was popularly known as "La Pepa".
Coinciding with the bicentenary of the signature, the Musical Society L'Illa de Benidorm, in collaboration with the esteemed director D. Joan Espinosa will dedicate this Santa Cecilia concert to this event and through works such as El sitio de Zaragoza, Goyescas, Sevilla, El Baile de Luis Alonso, or Cadiz will attempt to offer an image of Spain in 1812. This will have a new staging that is expected to please the audience.
Before starting the concert, a group of new musicians will join the Musical Society L'Illa de Benidorm.

From 9th to 14th November, Benidorm shows just the way it is. A friendly city that celebrates its traditional acts in the street, sharing with neighbors and visitors the extensive program of events and activities that fill with party the streets of the tourist capital of the Mediterranean during its Patron Saint Feast Days in honor of the Virgen del Sufragio.
The festivities date back to March 1740 when a boat appeared on the Benidorm coast dragged in by a violent storm. The boat was burnt to prevent epidemics; however some local boys found the image of the Virgin in the rubble and took her to the church where later they built a chapel. This story is staged each year on the Poniente beach on Saturday about five in the afternoon.
On the 9th November, the Queen and her court will open the festivities and, after this, the groups will appear in the traditional Entrada.
The next day the bands and the sound of bells will announce that Benidorm is totally immersed in its festivities and the magnificent Playa de Poniente will be the setting where the finding of the Patrona will be performed. The solemnity of the mass in honour of Virgen del Sufragio, pilgrimages and processions will put the perfect end to the celebrations.
Parades, correfocs, batukadas and fireworks will happen until 14th November. Nancis Rubias and Melendi will offer two concerts at the Auditorio Julio Iglesias and SS.MM. Los Reyes de España square.

12:00 Plaza de la Constitución (Constitution Square) - Proclamation of the Constitution of 1812
Locals will perform the "Dance of Peuet" (Baile del Peuet), in the Alameda (Alameda del Alcalde Don Pedro Zaragoza also known as the Avenue of Alcalde Don Pedro Zaragoza). A traditional dance over 150 years old.

Beni-Blues Brothers, The Tribute
If you are looking for a Soul Music then go and see the Beni Blues Brothers. A great deal of work has gone into this Tribute Show.
John Morgan and Darren Cannon both are the components of this group, they worked on the Costa Blanca circuit for many years, performing solo acts before coming together to create one of the most established acts in Benidorm.
You can hear all the songs associated with the Blues Brothers, guaranteed to get your feet tapping!.
You can see them every night at the Western Saloon at 23.00 on Calle Gerona and then again at Cafe Benidorm on the British Square at 00.30h.

A new bar in Benidorm , Benidorm Opry (only 1 month opened). The grand Ole Benidorm is only music venue to be dedicated solely to Country Music.
The Bar has been an ambition of entertainer Billy Val Williams and together with Linda, Gerry and Cheryl Taylor. The residents artistes are in the bar every night and every weekday afternoon from 3 pm there is Country Karaoke.
The decoration’ s Bar is about lots of memorabilia from the Country scene and even has a Country Music Hall of Fame adoring the walls.
It will be full programme of events with guest Artistes and in January they have secured the services of one of the UK’s top Country Music Names in Dave Sherriff.

The international Benidorm Half marathon has grown in popularity and reputation along with local residents and UK based British runners.The next race on Sunday 29th November will be no excepcion to this rule.
The marathon has a maximum capacity of 3,500 runners . I f you want participate book now or miss out!
The Half Marathon starts at 10am in front of the AYUNTAMIENTO DE BENIDORM, and is run over a flat course on closed public roads, and takes in the city’s main Levante and Poniente beaches.
Charity Runners
Like all big events such as this there will the loads of runners who are raising sponsorship for registered charities. Many of us know what a great feeling of accomplishment it is when completing a race, it feels even better when you are helping others in to the bargain!
