Throughout the years, the Fair has evolved into a huge bet for both cultural and leisure in a month that is more difficult, but that the Valencians themselves as well as visitors have made this a fair benchmark.
For this year various events are being prepared including:
International Competition of Bands: The event has become the largest in the world after more than 120 years of history, the most famous bands, both national and international beat for determining who wins this prestigious award. From Saturday July 4 to 11 the Palau de la Música and the Plaza de Toros will have the honor of hosting this event.
Firework Castles : Saying Valencia is synonymous with fireworks, firecrackers etc ... therefore, in such an important event could not fail: every Saturday this month at night, between Playa de las Arenas and the Veles e Vents building
Viveros Concerts: We have prepared a total of 10 concerts, for all, the doors will open at 20:30 pm and begin at 22h. Fangoria, the exception, Chambao, Bumbury, Serrat, Miguel Bosé, Amaral, Anastacia, Yann Tiersen and James Taylor will surprise us with their music.
Because of the good reception it had last year, Big Nit de Juliol (the night of Saturday 18 to Sunday 19) promises to museums and art galleries to be open and free from 22h to 02h in the evening, also be on the street type watch acrobats, dance, rock, mariachi music, string quartets .... the city of Valencia will be held with a great variety of artists displaying their entire portfolio.
2nd Saloon Dance Competition: La Plaza de la Virgen returns to the stage for this competition which was very popular last year. This year is expected to match and even exceed the number of public and partners.
Jardines del Palau: Many different acts will be hosted in this place throughout July, from pre-selections Falleros as Truc and Parchis championship, lots of music and dance will also have their place here.
For the kids there will be more room for fun: Shows with "The Journey of Hugo," a fantastic fairground.
All this and much more has been prepared in Valencia for its inhabitants and visitors will not get bored at all during the month of July.
